for ML i think it make sense they achieve some sort of bond gradually, there current status is what I see it, is not in the level of love, but interest, ML is also interested to the person who made him think about other perspectives in life rather then sleeping and being depress

like i think FL made ML see other things other then his first love, like because sometimes when your sad and heart broken your thinking is most of the time one dimensional, and I think FL showed ML another way out of that dimension, she made him think outside of the box

and its a good thing to move on and stop being sad about it

I think after that speech she gave him at the attic outside, he made him viw things from a different perspective. And once the perspective changes, everything else follows suit. He was so devastated that once someone acknowledged his low mental health and broken heart it's like he found a way to comfort his broken heart. So his feelings towards her also probably started as an appreciation for understanding how misër he was and then from there those feelings started pr are now starting to grow into something bigger.

But still I don't think speech of anyone can have this much affect on someone Like he just started liking her and now he is also jealous

Talking from experience, and from what I've seen from others, it's does work that fast. It's like one day you wake up and you realise that the guy you were dating and has now left you severally heartbroken he's just a regular guy, a regular bloke, he's not special and whatever happened it's just not that deep. Everything that went down was just a regular situation that happens to many and you've made it's "special" in your head and once you start seeing it as just a regular occurrence then it's like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
