Serdina is very dangerous, she's gonna torture Leah and make her a puppet, again.
All the efforts Ishakhan just did for release her from the magic was for nothing.
Also, this is very interesting, how Serdina can go around the palace dressed however she wants, even naked, and no one can say anything to her... How she looks healthy, with a good weight and complexion while Leah is malnourished, tired and pale. All of this is torture, physical and psychological abuse on her part and this is nothing compared to what is coming in the next chapters.
SPOILERS...
Ok listen, I was reading the last chapters of this manhwa and the artist omitted the fight between Doha and Lariette, he also omitted her journey through the desert and at the end how Asrahan arrives at ASHTAR and the king of the city tells him that Lariette went to look for him.
As far as I know, the final of this gonna be LAME in comparison with the novel and yes, I know, not everything can be illustrated... But this manhwa just leaves Doha as the worst person EVER and he's not so bad, he's not a merciless villain... At the very end of this story, Lariette's daughter encounters Doha and she wants him to teach her magic, So I hope they don't discard that ending.
And nah, it's never implied that way. It's framed in a way that's more like it's the closest thing he'll ever have to his own family. They become super close, but there's no suggestion that either character caught feelings. It's like if you ended up getting an apprenticeship with your uncle as a mentor, but it's the uncle your parents don't get along with. He's family and teaches you and trains you and even feeds you constantly, but he's always gonna see you like his baby niece. Those are the vibes I got from it. There's several 'black sheep' in my family, who got into major trouble in the past, but the younger generations accept them easier. He feels like that to me.
And I mean, in the book the girl keeps teleporting into his house. He tries to make her stop. She's more stubborn than an ox, though, and keeps doing it whenever she wants, anyway. Eventually he just starts sighing and saying she can sit for lunch with him or whatever. Over time, yeah, he becomes her mentor. But nah... I never saw romance vibes.
We can't see a cute boy, or even a child... HE'S A MONSTER.
I don't really care about the "dark romance" at all...
