It was a good story in terms of character growth but holyshit did she just go back to the guy who murdered her brother leaving his children fatherless?? She also never visited his children despite them being so loyal to her. She also never visited her sister's child free my boy Alexis/Axis/Alexia. The way this story just shrugged off to the demise of her family is fucking crazy. Like I get that her brother favoured their eldest sister the most but buddy that's not an excuse to treat his family coldly. Irene and the children care about her dearly. Okay fire plot and VERYYYY nice read so far EXCEPT
1. Hate how she just abandoned her adoptive parents from earth immediately. It isn't really logical considering she waited 60 years with continuous desperation to go back. Either it's a plot hole or she wasn't that sincere or decisive.
2. I like almost everything about Calypso except how easily she forgave her father. The guy wouldn't have ever given 2 fucks about her if she didn't meet him.
3. I also dislike the way the story just disregards the other children. It's obviously common in these kind of stories where our mc is the apple of the eye and everyone else just simps for her. But this story is honestly well written many aspects so it's quite weird that they'd follow such a common trope. Btw guys "The princess is evil" is one of the only ones where I saw the father loving all his children. It's really nice and wholesome in that aspect!
4. This one is just a personal nitpick but I haven't really noticed proper world building. Like where do the other siblings live? Who is their guardian considering this deadbeat fuck of a father won't do shit for anyone except the fl? Where are their nannies/guards?
