I feel like season two won’t resume immediately where we left off and it’s gonna start somewhere else, watch.
I feel like there also something wrong with the MC. Every time he’s reflexes kick in, he goes into a some sort of daze. I feel like he has some lost memories and he may actually be like a zombie hunter or something like that. He’s reflexes are way too short to be a normal person. Which would be interesting because I feel like the ML is some sort of zombie hybrid, or he somehow survived not turning all the way, or something like that. Which would make their love story so angsty once everything is revealed.
The normal humans not even speaking to him while they ate dinner is very telling. Maybe MC is one of the first to be nice to the ML aside from the kids. Idkkkkk but something tells me this is a psychic psycho romance and I’m here for it.
Ehhh. Too much smut tbh. I liked the concept, I’m a sucker for any type of Martial Arts/ Opposites attract stories but this one just didn’t hit for me. It wasn’t badddddd but it wasn’t goodddddd, you know?
Interesting. I’m curious how they will get their happy ending. Clearly ML is willing to stay in the game for Bada. But I still hope we get an even bigger plot twist, like Bada is actually the game master or something.
I may be in the minority here but the ML gives me some serious psycho vibes. Not saying he’s a black flag at all, I’m talking green vibe psycho vibes. The kind where they have no moral compass but would do everything for their person. I read another apocalyptic BL with a ML like that and this is what it reminds me of.
Especially with the Doctor warning him to just say his a teacher. I’m sure in future chapters we’ll see how unhinged he is.

Haven’t had a story hook me like this one in a long time. It was so beautiful and perfect. The angst. The mutual longing. The pining. Ugh. Such a complex story about trauma and how that affects everything in life. The tragedy of not communicating your feelings, the what ifs. It was so good. Kudos to another commenter for recommending listening to piano music, it really added to the reading experience. More like this story pls.
I really do think that they are in an unspoken/unofficial Dom/Sub relationship. I feel like Sooyoung has used punishment as a means to feel better or to “not feel” before too. And he’s told ML before that he likes it rough and likes to be punished so it makes sense for him to want that feeling when he made a big mistake. I think it’s okay for him to make himself feel better this way and regulate himself, he’s always been a bit of masochist.
One of my favorite tropes is when alphas mark and shower Betas with their scent and the Beta is totally unaware. We can have such a cute BetaxAlphs story, but no. ); I’d be okay with a late blooming Omegs rather than him force converting him.

Like I knowwwww this is just a fictional story but I hate that authors don’t do more research when it comes to the BDSM community. An actual good experienced Dom would neverrrrrr just throw a baby sub into sex and rough them up like that without them talking about the scene first. From what we can tell the Top isn’t a bad person, I’m assuming the next chapter he’s gonna apologize and take it slow, but I just wish they would include the basics of the basics as well.
