If you really think about it, I feel like Dan doesn’t know what healthy looks like, aside from his grandma. With having to deal with the loan sharks and that shitty experience with that doctor that made him get shunned from the PT world, like he has a lot of trauma. I don’t think he’s ever dated either so he doesn’t know any better in my opinion. So it’s not very surprising he’s falling first I guess. A little disappointing, yes.
JK is toxic, 1000% but I also don’t think he just straight up doesn’t care for Dan, it’s been shown a couple of times that he does. But hes VERY possessive and clearly has anger issues and doesn’t know how to regulate his emotions. Like someone said already he doesn’t like Dan talking or getting attention from anyone else. I’ve really been enjoying this domestic life they have going on recently. Personally, chapter 73 really shows that they are in love to me. Something about them having a mundane routine just sold it for me. They don’t have to explicitly say “I love you” for them to be in love, but at this stage in the story it’s definitely more than just attraction.
I am curious how they would even go about saying “I love you” to each other cause both Shin and Jay are so brash I can’t picture them saying it. Well, maybe Shin cause he has said some pretty romantic things already.

I’m not sure how to feel about the side story. I really like the best friend. I love how genuine his love and care is for his friends and how protective he is of his younger coworkers. Since it was mentioned earlier in the story that he also treated his partners a little rough I thought maybe he would have a sadistic side to him, hence him being the love interest of the red haired dude, to like, teach him a lesson but even if that was the point (which I don’t think it is) idk how I feel about to since the red haired dude is so unlikable. I just feel like he deserves better.
I only believe a character is redeemable if they have changed actions/realize what they did was wrong, and so far red haired dude isn’t like that. I don’t like that the author is using him getting r*ped as the way from him to realize his actions up to this point were wrong. I mean it is kind of realistic because I feel like people often can’t sympathize unless it’s happened to them, it just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Cause now he’s hurting and has ptsd and that’s causing him to be an even bigger asshole because trauma hits us all in different ways and I don’t see him redeeming himself tbh.
