In almost all of the BL manga/manhwa I've read on here, I always see so many comments saying they're gonna drop this because the MLs are red flags. Tf?? Y'all are not gonna marry those characters and if the MLs are absolutely green flags y'all better off reading like slice of life! I understand the feeling when like the MLs are extremely predictable or the same toxic things keep happening, then you get bored and then drop it BUT how TF you expect a good story arc if not atleast one of them was a shitty person?? The manga could've have only 3 chapters and I saw so many people saying that they're gonna drop it because the ML is toxic or fuck the ML because the side character is a green flag.

Why do you care about what other people want to drop?? If someone is the perpetrator of rape, domestic violence, abuse, or murder, why should they be redeemable. And in most stories, their toxic traits are always romanticized or the characters are depicted as being tsunderes. If you like copy-and-paste male love interests that have no personalities expect looking angry and being abusive, then do you. But don't feel ashamed and then project when people say they aren't interested in the same things as you.
I think you need proof of that generalization, I've dropped POTN, that story with with green-eyed-blonde and yellow-eyed-black hair love interests, Pearl Boy, and many others or skipped to the last chapter to see what tf is going on. I don't think as many people are into abuse and fucked up shit as you think they are. I have dropped some myself but I don't drop stories because a ML is not a perfect green flag. That is what annoys me. I read a yaoi story in which only 3 chapters were out - MLs are vampire and merman and they accidentally get into a blood pact. The seme makes the uke questionable things but mind you, they haven't had sex yet.

I read and liked Killing, Stalking and Caste Heaven not because of the story themes but because of the storytelling. To see how it all would end! There is a difference in appreciating a story to enjoying the acts in the story - which a normal minded person wouldn't.
