This manhua... is so sad but so good...(/TДT)/
I think this is my first time reading a BL where it doesn't have a "happy ending"; just a quiet one. It's such an easy read, and I found myself breezing past it quickly. Very good story for when you want to get in the angst feels.
(From here on, spoiler warning for readers who haven't read yet!)
Frankfully, I feel bad for every. single. character in here.
Dr.Ai, cuz he held such pure love and care for Zhishu, but in the end, Zhishu still thought of WenXu as he died in his arms (which may imply that ZhiShu didn't reciprocate his feelings in the end).
Wenxu (to some extent) because now he's forever stuck in a delusion that Zhishu is still alive and will come back home to him.
Heck, even side-character Shen/Chen, who lost his dignity, self-respect, and even his life because he loved WenXu, but was only a rebound.
But most of all, Zhishu... poor Zhishu who underwent so many medical conditions by himself, always left at home by his unfaithful and abusive husband. As a reader watching from Zhishu's perspective... you really start to understand why this series is called, "10 years where I loved you the most".
As depressing as the ending was... I kind of liked that it ended like that. Quietly, like ZhiShu's pain was finally over. What this story teaches us is that we should treasure and the friendships/relationships that we have with others. Not everyone can have that stereotypical happy ending like in the movies or books. But in order to have the closest thing to that, it's important to value the things and people we have in our life.
I'd say more about how much I love the small details in the characters, the background stories... but that would make this comment too long lol.
This story was painful, but a refreshing break from all the usual bright, happy shounen ais or the hot, steamy yaoi out there. Loved it. (⌒▽⌒)
Wooooow I love this!! Such a good read if you like tension in storiessss. And the romantic/sexual relations between wolves and foxes even though they are supoosed to be rivals... tasty ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
And both couples stories (Sirang and Ho, Youngsan and Kyunghoon) were so enjoyable to read!!
I admit I was kinda expecting a continuation because of the mention of Sirang's grandfather, and his disdain towards foxes. I also was hoping to see Youngsan and Kyunghoon's relationship develop more and become an official confirmed thing! (╯°Д °)╯
But at least it ended quite lovely. Sirang and Ho are happy in love and it's so obvious that Youngsan and Kyunghoon have a thing for each other!
Annnnnd finishing off with my favourite quote! ヾ(☆▽☆)
"The huge difference between wolves and foxes that have existed for such a long time... I hope you and I can make us come together." -Ho
I love it ╥﹏╥ ♡♡♡ Be happy forever babies.
I really really like this manhwa!! The colours are so pretty and I can even see slight improvements in the art overtime! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I'm terms of the story, woooow I'm really a sucker for the childhood friends concept where one of them goes through one-sided pining (Henry) and the other goes through self-realization (Sam) lol. It makes me feel so frustratingly excited seeing how close they were since childhood, the way Henry looks at Sam and the way Sam clings onto Henry. It's still reminent even in adulthood and throughout the years, people are still questioning whether they are dating or not. I cannot put into words how trash I am for this trope.ヾ(☆▽☆) I'm glad they eventually found their way back to each other.
(SPOILER: Seth and Henry didn't end up together but it was understandable. As much as Henry wanted to love Seth, they both knew that inwardly, Henry still loved Sam. I personally like HenryxSam more, but HenryxSeth honestly would've been such a great couple and story in another life ╥﹏╥)
I loved this series! It really felt like a journey going through this and although I don't tend to enjoy reading stories with love triangles, all three characters were so impactful. I could even relate to their individual thoughts and feelings when it came to love. They remind me that, yeah, love can make us anxious and wistful, but it can also be fulfilling. We should be brave and take a chance with it. :)
I'm happy with the ending!! I throughly enjoyed this story! Thank you to Wistful Summer for being my summer! (⌒▽⌒)/ ♡
That effect with Sungho's blood dripping down the pages is something I've never seen before in manhwa. Pretty cool!ヾ(☆▽☆)
Other than that, I feel like the story got progressively better. The more I read, the more I realize how twisted the both of them are, and how their relationship has become tainted. That dream that Dohyun had was so bittersweet. It really showed how things could've turned out differently, living in a world where both of them would be happy together.(TДT)
Am curious about the next update! To think that Sungho would go so far. They're both so lost. My heart is already so sad for them ╥﹏╥
(Warning, some spoilers in here)
Season 1: Started off pretty nicely. I love whenever we get flashbacks into their days in high school, where their affection for each other slowly grew. I like this season better because it was had the simple concept of Daniel believing that everything he read in the book was destined to come true, which lead to him to avoid his feelings for Alan. The mini plot twist was that the book shows whatever the owner desires, meaning that Daniel would truly accept (despite his own feelings) if Alan were to find love in someone else. However, I'm a little bothered with the ending. Although I get why Alan called him "self-centered and heartless" (Even without the book, Daniel had planned to reject/avoid Alan so Alan could find happiness without him; brushing off Alan's feelings and deciding things for the both of them), it was clear that Daniel made that decison because he was not confident in himself. It was offputting for me when instead of trying to be understanding towards Daniel, he just became cold. I get that he's tired from rejection (which is valid) but I don't think that's a reasonable way to handle things towards an insecure person obviously loves you and wishes the best for you. Also, the sex scenes were random to me and barely held any weight on their relationship whenever it happened lol. They still got their happy ending tho, which is great, but the ending could've been delved into more. I think this season started off great and ended kinda satisfactory for me, but is still a good story overall.
Season 2: Oh man, so much more drama in here lol. The plot is a dark complex mess which still manages to be amusing to me. I like that the book descends from Daniel in season 1, to Colin in season 2. To be honest, the book barely has any significance in this season, because Colin just uses it to find out a major secret; that Gabriel and Raphael are not twins, but different personalitities. That secret was a shock to me, I didn't expect it, so I like that plot twist. It was thrilling to read how Colin was going to deal with Gabriel's controlling and low-key vengeful behaviour. Despite all this, I think this season is harder to process because there is so much happening. Whether it be their family relations, traumatic events in their childhood and teenhood, Gabriel's personalities, Gabriel's love and revenge towards Colin, etc. which I don't blame people for getting confused or riled up about lol. The season ends with "Gabriel" getting taken away and "Raphael" taking over the body, creating a new start. This seems fitting, since Gabriel and Colin needed a new start from this messy dynamic anyway lmao. Nearing the end, I think it becomes increasingly harder to figure out if the both of them even genuinely love each other anymore. I don't think this season was too bad. It's thrilling, but there's just a lot to digest and some parts weren't executed well. It could've been better overall.
So. Friggin. Cute.
I absolutely love their relationship?? They're such a lovey couple~ Star's so honest about his love for Fanboy. Fanboy is shy, but you just know that he loves Star a lot too. They're both considerate, always thinking about each other. They open up about their problems to one another, and cheer each other on. You can literally see the love they have for each other through their gazes ALONE. Literally couple goals, i want that for me lol (⌒▽⌒)
Right now, I'm feeling that bittersweet, but satisfying feeling when completing a good manhwa. I hate to end it, but i loved every second of it. I'll probably even come back to reread it again when I want to read wholesome content. :')
Great story, great art, great characters. This manga is so good, I would reccomend this to new people who are just getting into BL. Heck, I'll even legit recommend it to people who don't even read BL lol. It's that good and wholesome content that I think any one will be able to enjoy. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I love this series and every character who ever stepped foot in it.
Star x Fanboy indeed, glad to see that our babies acheieved their dream and are happy together. (≧∀≦)♡
Simple, peaceful and beautiful.
I love that when Eungi came to realize that he liked Jeongwoo, he just accepted it. No panicking or pushing him away or something-- he just liked him. It's simple but meaningful.
I also liked to see the relationships between the other characters too, and how they all differ and interact with each other.
The entire manhwa gives the realistic feeling that they're all going through life together. And they grow through their experiences and challenges. I think that's what makes it such a wholesome manhwa to read.
Fools is such a peaceful read, ughhh T^T A happy ending for Eungi and Jeongwoo! Those babies deserve it. Thank you to Fools for being my nighttime read throughout the years. :') <3
Am I the only one who really enjoyed it??
I usually read manga fast, but with this story, I read it as slow as I could. And I found that it gave me better time to understand the story more and immerse myself with their feelings.
Gotta appreciate that this story has alphas who ACTUALLY care about omegas for once. Even going beyond that, they cared about omega heats and alpha ruts and basically said that if it didn't exist, people would be happier. And the whole bit about seeing someone as a person and not as their sub gender, I really love that. :)
Also liked the subtle diversity of gender and subgender in their world:
-Ayame's parents (f alpha and f omega)
-Shuu's parents (m alpha and f omega)
-Kaede and his crush (m alpha and m(?) alpha)
-Ayame and Shuu (m alpha and m omega)
I don't really think the story is as confusing as some of you guys make it out to be. Just imagine that their story is more deeper than what we actually see.
The only thing I'd complain about is that I wish they had more moments of growth, or that they actually discussed their past together. But this read I actually enjoyed a lot. C:
Honestly, I saw from tumblr, but the true source to see everything is the author's twitter page: @tsuba_daeki

When i initially read this, I was so excited because it looked like it would be up my ally;
I thought it was gonna be an omegaverse manga about an egotistical wolf who finds himself drawn to (and horny for lol) a sinful, and dangerous rabbit who is somehow an elite in their hierarchical society. I wanted to see the wolf and rabbit having silent hate and intense lust for each other, but later finding themselves loving each other passionately as well. A spicy story. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
And then the snake would prove that he has the greatest friendship with the wolf, (because friendship is also important, folks) and would maybe find his own man along the way, who would love him and look after his kids together with him or something. A more softer story. ヾ(☆▽☆)
I didn't expect the story to be a little different from what I was imagining dkeneksm. The fact that it's potentially a threesome with the Wolf x Snake x Rabbit. And from what I've been reading from the comments of others, the Wolf goes back and forth between the Snake and Rabbit?? That's not right, those babies deserve a better love story than thatttt(╯TДT)╯╧╧
I'm still gonna continue reading cuz I love all the characters and I want to see where the story goes, but it's really a shame that idk what's happening anymore ( ̄∇ ̄")
Let it be known that we're always bound to find media with many different content anywhere. Ofc course, this can include taboo content. Rule 34 of the internet; if it exists, there's probably porn of it. And that will always exist. I don't avidly read or prefer shotacon, but I have stumbled upon and read a few. That doesn't mean I'm now attracted to kids in real life, or want to see them engaged in sexual relations, wtf is that logic lmao. Personally, I think that as long as people are able to consume media healthily, stories featuring taboo subjects should be okay to read.
(And sometimes it can even bring greater awareness to actual pedophilia, such as through stories like Harada's "Nii-chan".)
HOWEVER, for this story, there's literally no point in arguing because there is NOTHING nsfw, nor is there any hint of sexual attraction towards the kid. Quite wholesome actually. People who instantly comment "YalL ArE pEdOs" on a manga that doesn't contain pedophilia, are literally wasting their time.
And for correction, "Shota" exists as its own word, meaning young boy. Although it has been associated with the Shotacon genre often, don't assume upon seeing the word Shota, that there is always going to be something sexual.
Reagrdless of anything, it's simple. Just read what you wanna read and mind your business. People will read what they want at the end of the day, and there's no point in bothering others about fictional stories and characters people read about on their own time.
And for the people who are easily telling others to die just for READING something, it is ironically telling me that you may need therapy instead. That isn't a healthy thinking mechanism, and I hope your mindset becomes better with time.
Agree. I think those people hating on the manga and its readers are just making this an excuse to be angry cuz they have so much frustrations in life that when they see a chance to be angry, they grab it. I mean the story is cute. I don't see how this is considered pedophilia. The older guy doesn't see him as a love interest. It's just up to people of they're reading this with a dirty mind.
True! I already read some “shotacon” stories and it became an awareness to me that things like that can also happened to young boys, that I didn't really expect since I'm new into this things before I also learned about pedophile and other stuffs. It doesn't mean that you read it you already support it.
This is mature thinking fellas^
I'm talking about the og comment
