Because Horus destroyed the mirror in which they believed Seth's wife was trapped. And, Seth became enraged, leading to him gouging both of Horus's eyes out. Not only that, it seems like he ran away after making Horus blind—
Seth found out that nephthys's true self was trapped in the mirror and that horus was hiding it from him. So they both got into an argument. Horus ended up destroying the mirror with nep inside and Seth got angry and gouged his eyes out.
