To him, family isn’t a burden but a reflection of his success and character. Even his son is more than just a responsibility—it’s proof of what he’s built and values.

The fact that Osiris ruined everything just because his brother is ‘straight’ is by right so disgusting. He mentioned he did “everything” to get Seth but did he communicate?? All of that effort for centuries just to covet him yet he failed to understand the simple concept of love. His love is just lust. What i can say is, if the ascension is abnormal like Anubis, they will lose their memory. So everything will go down back to the green goblin. Even in the story it has been hinted that Seth wasn’t originally supposed to be the god of war, it was the ogre that “bestowed” him the title. That green snot had played so many major role in rewriting the history, he even took away Isis’s throne as the king of eygpt. He had manipulated all of the siblings, the only ones that might tell us the truth is most likely Thoth or all the old gods who know the tea

Im really excited to see all of the gory scenes in the manhwa. Love how the artist illustrates the neck scene here, chef kiss with the face expression.

My top gory scene in the novel is when:

Mc rips of a contestant head, and insert his hand from the throat to the stomach and take out his insides(?) to find a marble (▰˘◡˘▰) this mf is the devil i tell ya.

Other scene will b the time he gauge out an eye ball, pluck nails, crushing arms legs and etc, ahhhh ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Novel 10/10 ( The author’s writing + his or her foreshadowing game is so damn good that you need to reread from the beginning to see it happens in 500+ chapters lmao ; we are also on book 2 and the plot THICKENS )


Manhwa 4/10

- It’s the art from ch 1 to 10 that attracts me coz Cale’s visual is out of the roof!
- but thats just it, the art is only beautiful. Imo it doesn’t suit how much war / fantasy like the novel has been depicting.
- the artist also tend to not draw faces… no hate but it’s just an ick for me… Like yeah… also the same face syndrome. Alberu n cale can pass as siblings ngl.
- the cut from some important scenes in the novel ( ik it often happens but too much important key points were left out )


I might be biased bcoz im a fan of orv, solo leveling and s-class that i raised. However I wished the art is at par with how awesome the novel is, i want to see the beautiful scenaries and awesome fighting scenes. At last beggars cannot be choosers. I have zero talent in drawing anyway. So i still rate the manhwa a 9/10

Can someone pls spill me the actual ending of this manhwa? Im a bit confused reading the spoiler forum, with Hyunjae’s wedding to a girl, Yuujin have 3+ children with Hyunjae, Yoohyun + a woman… and the whole if sacrifice Hyunjae the world is saved but Yuujin refuses etc.
