Let's talk about the plot.
Basically , the butler betrayed her and her family was ruined bcoz of the war....
But, if i may ask... WHO THE HELL IS DAT SILVER HAIRED BOY?!!! (the manhwa's cover pic)
He's not even in the raw at all(yet?) =')
Yes. The butler, in self-preservation betrayed their family. If i'm not wrong, for her family to be targeted so much, it must've been a civil war.
Her father seems hold a high position in the military. They are a Ducal Family, what's more due her mother as a business savant, they are very wealthy. They must have a large influence in court (and might have even possess the power to move the army)
So to the opposing faction, taking their house down is a must. First, take down tue Duke during the expedition (?), then assassinate the heirs to end line. A spy is necessary= Butler, it's a good position for you.
The friend's brother, trying to find clues on why the brothers died, was also killed from meddling into deep waters, so he may have been silenced.
Due to the family demise, her mother got sick and was not able to work. Their house fell into ruin. With no one to back them up, naturally they would leave her alone, as a trophy for the successful demise to regard or maybe they spared her, only to suffer more. Since realistically speaking in her situation, a fallen noble in poverty, her end will not be good. The only reason she stayed alive for so long is due to that loyal knight.
As for the silver haired boy, he's the ML as for who he is, the only possible answer based on the premise that my theory is right, he can only be the prince. Either, he's the crown prince who died (killed) too early that caused such mutiny in succession to the throne, or he's one of the rebel prince, that who won the throne in the end.
Anyway, some people spoiled that he'll appear by 50+ chapters. Hehe. So, hang on. (⌒▽⌒)
Skip beat, please take note.
If you think about it for a second, I think you’d realize Hak and Yona are childhood friends while Kyoko thinks she’s only known Ren for most likely less than a year. Skip beat isn’t some Cupid’s arrow manga or a manga that is completely centered on the main MC’s love life. Not saying that Akatsuki no Yona is either. But they’re in different circumstances. Hak has always(after they’re thrown out of the castle) made it clear about his feelings towards Yona while Ren intentionally/unintentionally lets his feelings for Kyoko show. Also, Kyoko has to hide her feelings, not just because her promise to Sho but because they’re in showbiz which will be brutal to a newbie like her (paparazzi, coworkers sabotaging etc.). Yona doesn’t have to worry about whether the people around her will approve of her dating Hak or even being in love with him
The only problem i have with skip beat is that their progress is hella slow, i get it.. Issa slow burn but you need to understand skip beat is an old manga.
I read skip beat before i was a teenager and im now a young adult. My maturity have changed and i do believe the author also need to think about "their" readers too. When "they" are dragging the manga too much , the old readers might get fed up and neglect it. Furthermore, bcoz of the old manga style i dont think there will be many young readers appealed to read skip beat.
While akatsuki no yona here, we can see how yona matured along the arc. Im not comparing both manga , but at least in akatsuki no yona most conflict had been adressed while skip beat... I mean bruhh, the Kuon's thingy and Kyouko in the LME dep hvent even look like its gonna solve yet.
My point is, its not beneficial for the loyal readers who bought the manga religiously to be dragged this long. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
P.s pardon for my eng , its not my native language.
I think the author had made a mistake with this manga's pacing. Tbh i read this before i was a teenager and was REALLY GIDDY and LOVING with the manga's romance , but rn since im already a young adult...... Im not that intrested anymore especially with shoujo manga and uhh prolly hv matured a lil bit.
Well my point is, the author might lose some of his/her loyal fans who follow this manga from the start and since the art is old , i dont think young readers would like to give a try with this manga tbh.... Soooooooooooo ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Yeah, the author prolly had a writer's block in the middle of the story or smthg.
If im being honest with myself, the story line do hv a smooth flow but... She is getting and we are also getting old , furthermore this is a shoujo manga... Soo there's a limit how much they can drag the manga...
And we still hvnt 100% solve the conflict in:
1) kuon's arc
2) kyoko fam arc
3) sho's and that beagel guy arc
4) moko san and that lil boy
5) REN AND KYOUKO TO FINALLY CONFESS TO EACH OTHER
FIRST OF ALL , why are they blindly praising Jennete #2 (marijyun) when ( IM SURE 60% OF THE NOBLES ) know about vio's household circumstances?
HER FATHER LEGIT CAME BACK ONLY FOR THE TITLE AND MONEY PLUS BRINGING HIS SLUT ( no for real though, if marijyun is the same age as vio , or younger: thus HER MOTHER MUST'VE KNOWN THAT SHE IS HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH A MARRIED MAN )
FURTHERMORE! vio's mother JUST DIED AND SHE (the mother) JUST CAME INTO THE HOUSEHOLD WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO ESTABLISH A GOOD RELATIINSHIP WITH THE DECEASED DAUGHTER WHOM YOU ARE NOW LIVING IN HER HOUSE WITH HER CHEATER of a HUSBAND?!
And someone please slap the hell out of that jennete #2.
THERE IS A LIMIT OF HOW FUKING CLUELESS YOU CAN BE!
And about the father, ╭∩╮(︶︿︶)╭∩╮ i gave up on him. Somehow seeing him makes me feel like Claude and Caitel are angels instead of lunatic fathers.
If you read this far, tq for coming to my t3d talk.
fav part of the manhwa
" hello? Fbi? Yeah, same person... "
That's my least favorite part. Calling the FBI on a person who is actually helping you, not the people who are actually hurting you? Gross.
What... It's not the fact that's she's helping the girl but they way she acts/responds to the situation sounds very pedatory-like, my dude.
It's a joke...
finally, someone with the right sense of discerning humor between situations. sht im gonna cri
