So like, does the father love his vampire wife or not?
It feels odd when gunchan said he doesnt realy love his son. Basically he just hates human from the start n her death is the trigger?

I think he loved her as a life companion. Not passionate love, but still love.
If you go back to ch 92 (and some talk btw Ellian and Edric around 88, I think). You will see that Ellian didn't hate humans. He thought they are stupid and like to betray, but he still did his works to manage them (as he was some kind of the lord at that era).
However, in ch 92, he felt betray due to the fact that humans belittled the 'love' (of Vampires) . Even we (their kind) love you (humans) this much, you throw it like a trash. He couldn't stand that.
Back to ch 75, Gunchan asked him that what he felt is 'regret' or 'betrayal'? I think that's the key of his hatred.
It did not beyond my expectation that he did not care much about his son. This person has never felt anything much from the first place. I think he just don't want her kid to follow his mother, to love humans too much and get hurt by that love.

I lowkey think ijikiel should end up with athy instead of lucas, because yanno lucas is like 100+ years old. ( ̄∇ ̄") not saying it's pedo or smthg just the age gao is a biiiiit...

In the beginning chapter, Lucas said he'll be aging the same as Athy when he transform himself into a kid the same age as Athy, and they basically have the same kind set, cuz of how Athy was reincarnated while Lucas was in a deep sleep(u can kind of see this as a cryo sleep..?) Sooo yee, it's basically the same but different process...? Idk that's how I see it, and I'm not really against ejikiel but if it weren't for Lucas playing around Athy and ejikiel wouldn't have met, which changes the original story, cuz in the original story ejikiel is part of the plan why Athy got killed anyway, so... just saying (=・ω・=)

Ijekiel: " she must've have endured a lot of pain. We need to help her. Even if we dont have enough power , her protection is our priority! "
Jennete : " idc what she is facing rn, she's only here to meet me anyway. Oh btw wanna hear the story how i spend my time with her father? "
.... I cant believe athyxjennete is the 2nd most popular ship (wht i heard when the novel came out) Honestly, she's a SNAKE JUST LIKE HER MOTHER
also, since the manhwa is.different from the novel i honestly dont mind if ijekiel wins the princess. (Coz lucas already have her in the novel anyways)

I would never think of shipping athy with jannett honestly because jannett doesn't understand that she's didn't have a terrible childhood or anything.. I mean it's not ideal but she wasn't ignored and alone like the original athy, she has people to rely on. Also I think athy's way out of her league (︶︿︶)=凸
Even if they wait for another 3 years, 16 is still not a legal age for marriage.
Idc if the author set the story at that timeline but s/he need to consider their target audience. Imma call the fbi fam. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Medieval people don't really give a rat's ass about present day standards.
People in those days live an average of 30 years.
Either you marry young and procreate or risk the extinction of your whole clan. Their children even have a 50-50 chance of living considering how unhygienic those days were.
That's the reality, and I commend the author for doing his/her research
In Scotland you can marry at 16 with your guardians permission. But yeah, a 12 year gap when your so young is kinda big, but I think age difference matters less as you get older, lol you probably wouldn’t care if they were 60 and 72 right ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Bruhh the timeline is not set now a days,..... If you trace way way back at age of 12, parents already set up marriage
Even in modern day US, 16 years Olds can legally marry and/or become independent from their parents
They have a 12yr difference and the setting is medieval times, where teenage girls were married off to 30+ yrs old perverts for political and economic reasons add fantasy to it and most "common reasoning" stops existing
