No, there is 2 weeks break. We have 10 chp to the ending of the story. Author said on X they want to prepare for that - so no new chapters this week and next week.

Where did you find out there's only 10 chapters left? TBH I'm so happy to hear that cuz that means we will hopefully see prince fucker die horribly.

The break notification was when chapter 89 or something was about to get updated but they postponed it, it also got announced on Bomtoon as 2 week break too. The newest announcement however was “suspend” (mtl), not a break. I haven’t seen the author updated anything since that 2 week hiatus too

100% sure the only dom alphas that have appeared up till now in the manhwa is Karlyle’s younger brother- Kyle, Karlyle’s grandfather- Arthur and Sir Philip Gordon

Besides if Ash had been a dominant alpha it would have been mentioned in the story as it already said that dom alphas only take 1% of the human population and most of time, only noble families can “produce” dom alphas

But did we hear of his bio father and the reason for his odd eye color?

The father didn’t appear much in the story tho, he’s a commoner and he has brownish hair, in the AU it mentioned that he’s a designer. For Ash’s odd eyes, i think it’s simply just Heterochromia. Both Ash’s parents aren’t getting mentioned that much detailed about their genders in the novel so i believe they’re just a normal alpha x omega couple

So i completed reading this and it turned out to not be as bad as I thought. The politics topic is kinda interesting, logically and acceptably developed, the problems are that there’re some unnecessary sex scenes (the tentacle one imo) and there’s lack of depth in Idris and Zigiren chemistry/ romance development. Up till now I still see it as Zigiren one-sided love and this is weird but i feel like the chemistry between Idris and the crown prince is even more clearly shown. But still overall it’s still a nice read and im looking forward to season 3 ( ´ ▽ ` ) if you want to give this a try, beware of trigger warnings (rape, torture, drug, toxic relationship (between Idris and the crown price),…) and Idris is the bottom and being bottomed by both the crown prince and Zigiren

Definitely not porn for plot, the politics are actually one of the most straight forward and developed ive seen. I feel like the 18+ scenes are fairly short compared to other manhwas too, its just that the concept of the manhwa itself is sexual exploitation oriented. Theres a lot of rape/implied rape but they do definitely drive the plot, its just the way the author presents it is a bit vague and thats why (im assuming) in manhwa format its feels less cohesive.

(e.g. tentacle part, was supposed to show mc's admiration is stronger than his lust for the commander & also not alike that of the prince's obsession to the commander but i just ended up laughing throughout the scene cos the tentacles felt so random and kink-targeted lol)

Tysm for your review (^з^)-☆ yes the reason I was binge reading this manhwa is mainly because of the politics (and I also want to see how will Zigrien- Idris relationship develop), the smut scenes between Idris and the crown prince are quite plenty in amount, but they’re fairly short. I think the longest scene is the one between Zigrien and Idris. I saw people complaining about too much smut/ rape scenes but imo, the rape scenes were getting reduced in ss2, and I think the author put more rape scenes in ss1 to portray the relationship between the crown prince and Idris and how cruel/ brutal the crown prince is

(e.g oh that’s how I felt about how the rape scenes and the tentacle part were presented but I didn’t know how to express it, tysm )
