I’m not gonna lie. The first time I read this manga - I dropped it because their dynamic and how the relationship started off annoyed me so fcking much. The misunderstandings were just so.. but I’m glad I came back cause they’re so damn cute lol. People make finding him annoying but I love the mc and how unapologetically unique he is. Also I’m glad that the manga recognizes the faults that the mc and ml have. It’s nice to see that.
This is how I know I wouldn’t be able to handle someone like her cause I would’ve said yes so quick. The minute I find that someone’s trying to manipulate me by using mental illness, trauma or threats - I lose all my sympathy and compassion. I don’t know how people are able to tolerate this nonsense. Even if someone was telling me that they’d kill themselves if I don’t do something, I’d simply just tell them to go right tf ahead!

Sexual coercion falls under the umbrella of sexual assault because even if someone says yes, they’re not giving consent freely. It’s a tactic of abusers. Sexual trauma does always involve physical force. Just writing this comment in case anyone doesn’t know this! I mean, even victims themselves sometimes don’t realize it (cause they were pressured or tricked into it).

Mc was not pressured, tricked, threatened, or forced in a nonphysical way. The ML is somewhat decent and knows when to stop. MC is a grown man, he can make decisions for himself, although he’s low-key a pushover and emotional but he still wasn’t coerced. ML is not a bad person. You’re forgetting the MC also lied twice about his experience( I think it’s in chapter 3 or 4).

Mc definitely felt pressured to have sex with ml. Sorry but I’m not gonna argue about this. I’m way too emotional about this topic to have a debate about it. It’s fine if you disagree, I’m not gonna force you to understand my view since it’s just a character in a manga. Though when it comes to real people, I hope people try to be understanding towards them and what THEY’VE felt. It doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t personally think a situation was sexual coercion (consent can be revoked at any time).
