I think it's a combination of things. It's been flat out said by the narrative that there's something not right with him since birth and that yoojin was the only one kind to him/giving him life in pretty much his entire life. So he was always a little obsessed? Even in the first time line, he did everything for his brother, secretly watching over him and becoming powerful /building the guild to protect him.

So then there's two things that we know of st play. One of them is he is an s-clsss which the narrative specifically states makes people a bit crazy and obsessive to the point of violence even over people they love. The second thing is yoojins skill, which exemplifies the targets affection / makes them see yoojin as their caregiver. But in this case, yoojin was already the caretaker, so maybe that has some kind of consequence of like doubling the affection / love or something.

Then ever since yoojin has reconnected with his brother, he's constantly been put in dangerous situations, which likely makes his brothers anxiety skyrocket. And if a s classes love can even be seen as violence, their anxiety and worry are probably tenfold

Well I think the obsessive tendencies are kinda genetic (since the brother is also kinda obsessed with him) but it got aggravated in the younger more prominently because he was severely isolated even by his parents, then the world suddenly started falling apart and he found his brother, his only source of comfort and love, powerless and always on the verge of danger. I’d say his obsession is concerning but understandable.

Yoohyun is hated and considered as psychotic even before they awakened. His family/neighbor scared of him,and based on yoojin monologue, yoohyun likes to do everything without thinking abt how people felt even if it involving hurting people. Yoohyun grew up following basically what yoojin teaches him on how to be human coz he thinks that is what yoojin wants him to be regardless if he cares for other people feelings. His world centre around yoojin so its kinda understandable why he acts that way. But he starting to accept yerim coz he deemed yerim is worthy of protecting yoojinand he hated yoojin child

that's that and also it has been emphasized that Yoohyun, Sung Hyeonjae and Riette are born S class, a completely different breed of people than the average S class. there are two more who we will see in the future i hope.

I think this was a novel before it was a manhwa so you should be saying novel writer not manhwa writer.

To be fair, real songs by some idols aren't better than what manhwa writers write, at least when translated.
