Um I think you might need to go back and reread. He's not being manipulated by Seungwon or Jiyu. Jiyu doesn't know Heesu from ADAM and she STILL had reservations about what Seungwon wanted to do. She only went along with it because her FRIEND needed her help. PLUS Seungwon is not doing this 'for Heesu's good' since he's not even doing it for Heesu. I see where you're coming from mainly from the best friend's perspective but I don't see how the new friend is manipulative at all. He just wants to get closer to the person he likes and spins a story about having an imaginary crush. I see it more as a white lie.
