dislike this challenge: im still hoping for a possibility that jinwoo and woojung had a chance together or woojung suddenly falls for jinwoo lmao. im all in for the drama(≧∀≦)
Nah ... we're good with the drama that is coming already. Woojung/Girl/Eungi ... all creating drama for the couple. Plus the ship wars are already annoying enough. Thanks.
what is this about . is it worth reading ...?
step father blackmail / rape step son (main character). MC is a hoe tho and does sex with a guy that is p crazy. Its alright, a lot of frustrating things happen tho and the main character is frustrating at times as well. If you don't like the first few chapters, do read the rest, the tone of it doesn't change
Not worth I'd say, the author at the end just rushed everything because of some problems with Lezhin, you could see that she fwlt like she was obligated to finish it
is there any romance???
Yes, but to say that it's "very slow" is an understatement.
The novel itself has already has chapter numbers in the triple digits but collectively very little has actually happened. The manga provides much better pacing for it which is godsend, but it overall the story has it's sweet moments of a bit of romance for a breather here and there but it's still heavily focused on business and governing aspects.
The author tries to make a heavy point for you to be 'impressed' by the main character, but honestly it's not as intelligent as it seems.
It purposefully holds back a lot of punches because it plays on the idea of Iris's independence and reluctance to fall in love because of her broken engagement. With so many things happening around her all the time, it's easily a back burner issue because nothing about her love life needs to be immediately addressed.
So yes you'll get the sugar plum moments between Iris and the male lead, but you'll need to be patient for them.
its funny how they keep running around circles and while the plot itself is quite cliche or mediocre, i think that the author handled well the emotional dialogues and character development.
i cried when eunho said before he enlist and had sex for the last time with jaeha: “i guess its time to wake up from the dream.” it really hurts.
jaeha is struggling with himself, he used to took everyone for granted and only focuses on how not to make anybody abandon him. its his defense mechanism.
everybody has their own defense mechanism. including eunho. he indeed changed his personality and become forceful with jaeha, but its how he cope with his own struggle. man, liking someone for over 10 years one sidedly is not easy, and thats obviously only exist in fiction.
i think no one is at fault. its just their circumstances. they have their own trauma. no one can decide or compare which hurts more, jaeha’s circumstances, or eunho’s circumstances. they’re the one who deal with it. the same with us.
im gonna use depression for an example. just how depression come in every form: example, a person depressed because their kitty is dead, and a person depressed because they failed their exam. you cant decide/compare both problems or saying that “you cant be depressed by such small problems”. they’re the one that felt it. they’re the one who are affected with it.
both jaeha and eunho, they’re human, they have their own ways to deal with their struggles.
the art was pretty but honestly i think im the only one who keep rereading this to understand whats happening but im such a boo boo the fool i dont understand anything ????
like why did seokjoo hammered soowon’s hand and why soowon dont tell seokjoo his own name and pretend that they havent met before ??
everything will be revealed in due time just be patient or read the raws if you can’t be
at least do you know why sowoon pretend like they’re just strangers?
from what I could gather (since I can’t read hangul) it was partially just because he panicked and had missed the timing to clear things up earlier, and also because he was scared of what would happen after seokjoo figured out since it’s not like they’d really seen each other after the incident (which didn’t happen how it might have appeared to)
oooh thank you so much !
