As someone who read the short story version first (6 chapters) what's the difference between this one (serialised) and the shorter one?
It’s the same story altogether. The author just decided to continue it. Originally the story concluded with Hayden taking Brett’s hand so they could fuck in chapter 6. I think it was a smart choice on the author’s part to continue, so now we can see more of Brett and Hayden as characters, as well as dive into their motivations more.
The story has been lacking and deteriorating since halfway season 2 and these new chapters just make me want to drop it.
The other commenter who said ''The story went from being a little fun comedy commentary of the ludicrosity of the yaoi genre to taking itself wayyyyyyyy too seriously and turning into the thing it was making fun of.'' IS 100% RIGHT.
This went from a funny smutty story with decent art to a story that doesn't know in what direction it is going in, the plot feels jumbled now, and at this point we are all tired of the archmage and yeol (who's art got twinkified) . The mc has become a even bigger doormat.
I love reading your theories in the comments and here is mine:
I have the feeling that one of the characters as in male leads is responsible for the MC ending up in the novel world and i also feel that Argio, Purple hair and the South Demin probably know something that they are hiding from the MC, i wonder if one of them knows he is not the real hero.
(i miss the old art before they twinkified yoel, prayur circle for author to bring back the old art back)
So i looked at at the recent raws (up till chapter 18) and it looks like the MC and the ponytail dude become closer and it looks like they go on a bus together on chap 18, im unsure but i think it's for them to go and visit Mc's family. The white haired dude, it seems that the MC becomes more distant with him and the white haired dude goes a bit crazy and starts hallucinating in chap 18.
The story starts becoming rushed somewhere around chapter 60 and the ending is very rushed and disappointing.
The relationship between evan and that blonde guy was unexpected and felt a bit forced.
There were somethings plot wise i wanted to see be delved into more , i wanted to see what Kyle's first reaction was when he found out Adrian was a ghoul but that was kept vague.
Although Evan was the antagonist of the story i did feel a bit pity for him.
Overall it was a good story but near the end it becomes so rushed that the story feels half-completed.
The author suffered health problems and stress partly due to p-i-r-a-c-y of her manhwa and loss of i-n-c-o-m-e with readers like us and sites like this. She was hospitalized as a result, was so over it, and was keen to finish it quickly for her own health and sanity. That's why it's rushed.
Lol, can't believe you're still judging on the illegal site
Wtf is your problem? And why are you targeting my post out of all the other topics when mine is mostly positive, is it because you know the others would rightfully go tell you to go KYS.
Now don't be a hypocritical cụnt when i can see your over 100+ topics on the stories you read on this "illegal" site. And i can also see that other persons topics too of them shitting on other stories.
