it's popular because WHEN are women allowed to be perverse? when are women allowed to be sexual if not for a man? have you noticed how there are no male characters? the only man is referenced THROUGH a woman.
although the characters have the big-boobed thin-waist thick-thighs design, you can see from a glance it's not drawn the same way as, for say, a shone manga.
I don't know so much about this author but it feels like something made by a woman, whether they are or not, that's why it's popular
strong female leads, sexy powerful women, like Nikki Minaj has AWARDS for woman empowerment! no.1 way to do that, having the female body, female sexuality FOR women
that which has been, for so long, coveted by men
I never understood why fujos read absolute nonsense and have a sense of community still but when it's yuri it gets hated? like why can't you admit perversions to yourself unless it's through the metaphor of a man
like plotless porn is referenced negatively in all of the comments here that reference it but I've seen it in yaoi comment sections and they find it funny and admit they like it
and if you're not after sex in your manga, don't read the smut tag? if you don't like it either formulate a proper critic on it or accept you're not the target market segment
Ntm on yaoi readers including myself. Porn with plot is low key funny when the plot is ridiculous and there’s a comedy tag present. In this case there’s no comedy, instead there’s tons of drama which makes it a little overwhelming and it overall seems rushed, as if all the effort went into the art (which is gorgeous) and the plot was written on a napkin or smth
like it's not good so idk what to rate it, not more than 2 points whatever the case but does it really earn those 2?
something I do want to point out, though it's kinda irrelevant, is that those 3d models really take away from the art. using the flower pot scenes as ana example, it's either there or it's not, we're not shown the motion of it so initially I thought the key went under the tan pot.. it's jarring too, honestly, like imagine if it was like this for the writing? having a character development without seeing the cause? it's silly! and it's missing a key opportunity to show the characters interacting with the world, missing an opportunity to show something more about the characters (well, in this case there's not really anything else to them besides fetish fantasy)
perhaps he could have lifted it swiftly, still in the squat, and perhaps he lifted it higher than he needed to, with the same excited beam (I think in this panel the expression does fit, but in the rest of it GOSHHH I was so annoyed like "wheeeew :D could have been bad if i got beat to death :3")
showing his earnest and excitement in this action
mannerisms are revealing! but we don't get to see them because everything is put in like legos
