The roles changed. Jihwan takes the role of Gyujjin, and Taehee (the guy with piercings) takes the role of Jihwan.

Sooyung tells Jihwan that he prefers to live with Taehee than him. Same as he told Gyujin in chapter 11, He said he preferred to stuck with Jihwan than him.
-Sooyung thinks that Jihwan uses the same tone of voice and has the same vibe as Gyujin, even repeats the same words in Chapter 14 and chapter 31.
Gyujin kind of warns Jihwan about Sooyung. He told him "Sooyoung is good at toying with people and refused to put the whole time" Of course it is not Sooyung's fault. Just that the two guys got obsessed over him and feed more their delusions.
The difference between them is that Jihwan is the ML and he is going to end with Sooyung because the author put the tags of #RegretfulTop and #RunawayBottom and the author said she loves unhealthy love. Also Jihwan doesn't hurt physically Sooyoung, just mentally (both are bad).
My conclusion is that Sooyoung kind of attracts the same type of men, maybe he has some daddy issues.

Kyuho confesses but gets rejected by Yoongun (he still wants to be fbuddies but KH doesn't accept because he has feeling for him).
-YG asks to be fbuddies again but KH rejects him, telling him that he likes someone else (he was lying).
-KH gets in trouble in his new job as journalist but YG helps him.
-YG couldn't accept KH being with someone else. YG created a username with the datingapp and tried to match with KH.
-It takes a lot of time for Kyuho to accept Yoongun again but YG really insisted until he got really drunk and bang his door begging.
-They start dating and Yoongun introduced himself as the boyfriend of Kyuho. They are a sweet couple now.

This is an spinoff of another story called Dating class/Dating business where the protagonist is Moon Kang, friend of Kyuho. He later appears in this story and Yoongun is jealous of him.
Moon Kang (chapter 17) is the bottom of his own story and is more in the drama side. His best friends are Kyuho and the other girl.

I think the step-bro is a GUMIHO, a fox creature that can change appeareances and steals the energy. (I think that because the artist draws him as a fox in social media) I hope the 2nd season comes soon. So far the Ridibooks calendar for May and half-June doesn't show the 2nd season for this comic. Hopefully late June or July.
