I like the colored pages but I agree that it’s distracting. They’re really nice but it’s hard to stay with the flow of the story when you accidentally keep reading each page twice. I’d love it if they were at the end when you’ve finished reading the chapter and just want to relive the best scenes in color

I guess cause I'm used to seeing Korean Drama where you see a bit of the previous episode repeated (ditto Webtoons) that having something repeated like that--my brain just doesn't react to it much. Doesn't throw me out of the story and I just zip by it. (I do one-page reading so it's easy to scroll past a few pages).

So the two brothers, Tooru and Satoru, are in “love” with each other. Tooru is born with a speaking deficiency hence wasn’t able to make friends when he was young. Their mom then hires friends for him. One day, Tooru had to stand in the rain for a long time, waiting for his fake friends to come, but never did. That left him bruised. He became reclusive and shut himself inside the house after that. Now fast forward to when Satoru is in high school. Their mom has become stressed and disappointed over Tooru and the fact she’s single. Satoru engages in sex with Tooru quite frequently. He also plans to move out with Tooru. Tooru, however, refused. But one day, on their birthday in fact, Satoru woke up to noises and caught his mother raping Tooru. It seems that this is also a common occurrence. Satoru then became enraged and beat his mom up. He went to jail and Tooru testified everything in order to save Satoru. The seven gods thing is representative of Tooru’s sins. It states all 6 except the 7th which was implied to be about his mom’s abuse.

Yes tooru is alive he cried because tooru finally opened up and revealed what he really want but satoru is now being held because of what he did to his mom and cant be with him but tooru states helllwait till he comes back
