im not even going to lie… this shit is so buns. like its definitely not ass to the max but holy fuck.. teryl is like the worst person ever idk I HATE HER SM. she is written to be a boss female lead or whatever and i do sympathize with her but i find her character to be SO boring and obtuse. i feel like since shes written to be a holier-than-thou boss female lead a lot of people excuse her poor reasoning and tend to side with her more than not. but i dont understand how people view the male lead as toxic when everything he does is TO SURVIVE. he didnt mean to lie to HER in particular hes lying to EVERYONE. there was no need for her to take it so personally considering that the only reason he was still ALIVE was because he had lied in the first place. to be honest the male lead was the only reason i read this. i find his character so much more compelling than the female leads. yeah shes sticking it to the man or whatever BUT HES LITERALLY TEETERING ON DEATHS DOOR. idkkk. i read this a real long time ago on a different site and i stopped reading when the hijinks ensued… maybe ill pick it up again one day who knows… :(
