No i think it's ratter being burned down so the Chariot soldiers will be unable to rest properly. And to manipulate the public into thinking that this wouldn't have happen if not for Chariot's invasion.

The FL's probably not jealous of the red haired prostitute mistress due to emotional reasons, it's just that when you don't have any other relationship experience to compare it to, you tend to have less insight to tell whether it's truly your fault or not that your current relationship isn't working, and it happens that when you see the third wheel that your partner is cheating on you with (like the redhead) still sticking it out with your partner for that long, it can make you feel like there's more chances that you're the one with the problem, there, rather than your partner... because it feels as if your partner was successfully proving it to you that, between you and him,, since he's been able to have a good relationship with someone else, then that'd have to mean that, between you and him, *he* is not the one with the problem...
