oh the idea to live on their own when they have succeeded in living together is so strange to me. I know he will get a collar soon, but i think having the offer of renting a room or even offering a shed type place to rent would work. I know people whose partner doesn't have enough to live on their own, but wants to live on their own, they have built tiny houses on the property to rent to their love. it works great and eventually turns into the kid's play house instead.
