This story is good but something missing like:
- I'm curious what happened with mason's brother? Is it revenge or something? Why someone killed him?
- why mason didn't try to find out why is he in haley's body? When haley's death, why mason the one flash by? Have they met before? Cause haley's said "if it's you, you will make my wish come true"
And someone on the phone said "be careful after doing 'that'"
- and the way noah suddenly think that haley is mason for the first time, kind of to rush
Rather than make a story about stalker, wish the author give more details with the main story
The kidnapper went after Mason's brother, so he avenged his brother by killing them kidnapper.
My theory is that, Haley wished for a spell that will make Noah love him and seeing as they showed Mason it meant that was the only way Noah could love him.
The person on the phone sold the sacrifice thing him to him. The girl was Rachel his drug dealer. She warned him that the effects might be stronger than he expected. In other words he didn't really think he was going to die until the last minute.
If you recall when Mason 3ntered Haley's body and went to Haley's basement, there was a weird symbol on the floor drawn with blood and some kind of animal skull. And in the beginning chapter Haley was squeezing blood out of the animal's brain.
He didn't think it was masonbthe first time. His acting just reminded h8m of Mason. He was suspicious after like 20 chapters then confirmed in in the 34th or so chapter.

The original Haley was the child actor whose one big hit was his movie “27 hours” where he portrayed Noah in the kidnapping 3 years after it happened. The kidnapping where Mason saved Noah irl. The one hit for Haley that would have contributed to his obsession for Noah and the link as he was dying from that stupid drug he took and saw Masons soul and latched onto it.
