Hmm idk the background story doesn't shift my heart to be understanding of your behavior. It made me understand he has a savior complex. Clinging onto the person who saved your life so you see him as your life line and not your brother. So your mental state is f**k up by making this an obsession.
That's not what having a Savior comes is I don't think. I thought it was when a person has an obsession or need to save people. Like they are the Savior. Not someone saving them.

I get it but i think the "king" has a need to save his brother from people. Remember than he killed his/their parents and taehyuk fiancée because he thought it was him doing something good for him. That he alone could be taehyuk knight in shining armor that no one can make him happy except him. He turned it into an obsession and I believe it came from the moment taehyuk was just there for him when they locked up the "king".
If it was something I think he would have kept him in complete isolation and probably execute people for just breathing on him.

In the beginning of the present chapters we never saw this obsession from the brother in the present or it was always there but we never saw it? We barely got to see his brother in the present. Back to the past I just realized that the past taehyuk accepts things awfully fast sigh. Idk understand was there the magically/supernatural presence in the past for him to be like oh special kid that grows in an instance is no big deal.
I thought past taehyuk knew the child wasn't human so why is it that he believes he is dead. Did he not see the growth spur he went through in a few days? Did he not see the entire village disappear when he found him? He might not have shown him all of his powers but the small amount he saw shouldn't have him doubting his continuous existence. Smh.

My opinion about this before never changed. I just asking about the child the seme kidnapped along with the uke. Putting his personal feelings aside how can he not reassure him his child is safe and then using it to threaten him to stay. Also I can see why he wouldn't tell him about the child. Maybe his fear came from the last time they saw each other and decided to end it. Maybe he thought the seme would think he trick or trapped him. My other question is he said he was searching for the " omega that marked him" but didn't the uke contact him before arriving to his house. So why didn't he at least try to call him back to ask if he was there or asked if he saw anyone arrived at the house. So I read a comment a really long time ago that this was gonna happen. Yul was right not to be treated like that but ( and don't blame me!!!) when the seme was telling Yul that he needed to check his friend he didn't want to believe him then his friend tried to force himself on Yul.
