Final fantasy 14 is considered one of the best mmorpgs out there and it certainly has one of the best & nicest communities. It has a lengthy free trial (like the first 60 levels) before you have to pay (I think $15 a month & paying for the expansions which you can usually get on sale for cheap). It has several jobs/classes like this and everyone says the main story is really compelling. Plus, there are lots of guilds, raids, and community events.

Definitely recommend FFXIV!

As a former ragnarok online player, I think this is based on it, because I can relate so much to the manners of PVP and Guild wars. It keeps reminding me of Rag mechanics and chibi art. I feel like I've met all the people on this guild (￣∇￣") the only thing Rag has is a uniform for classes, and it's not as customizable. At least it wasn't back in the day.

Guysss I started Ragnarok and omg im in love it's sooo cute and it definitely has the same feel as this manhwa's game. I haven't tried out the others cause I'm low on storage (Genshin Impact and Solo Leveling: Arise got me in a chokehold)

And so true I had a harddd time trying to decide which class I wanted. I ended up picking mage

If you care about dealing damage and balanced gameplay, knight, wizard, monk and assassin are pretty good for solo and parties. They're also quite easy to build. I think wiz and monk might be harder to level up, but it's worth it.

If you don't care much about any of that, pick any that you find the clothes pretty haha my fav is rogue. I love the stylized thug look of the job

I think you'll see that mechanics wise, Rag is similar to the story, but the character customization feels like maple story. I haven't played maple, so I wouldn't know the game play, but I've made lots of maple dolls online lol
Also, don't be disheartened if the game occasionally doesn't connect. It's an old game, I don't think people are as keen on keeping the servers working properly ╥﹏╥
