What Happens When the Second Male Lead Goes on Strike

I love angst. Especially when it’s short. 5/5
When the Villainess Loves
If you ask me, I feel like villainess stories can be categorized in two boxes. In one box, we have stories who try to break the villainess mold; and become something (all villains are destined to die, a mother’s märchen, kill the villainess, etc…). Even if you don’t like these stories, you can agree they’re memorable in their own way. And then in the other box, there are the stories that don’t bother to be special. And that’s fine too, I’ve read plenty that are basic but still good. But do you know where I draw the line? When the story repeatedly insults my intelligence. And this story does it nearly every chapter.
I like reverse harems, or at least stories where men surround the MC. But I also like it when I understand WHY they’re obsessed with her. In this, all she does is smile, say a few poetic words and cough blood and they’re head over heels in love with her. Seriously? If we brush past the fact that nearly all the potential ML’s have the personality of cardboard, as soon as the ML was introduced, MC’s already puny intelligence literally evaporated. Deadass, the moment they met, she was giggling, blushing, and FLIRTING with him. What happened to being subtle? Or at least slow burn? Clearly, the other MLs were just all jokes, because as soon as Daniel appeared, he literally swooped her up and she fell in love.
The writing in this is so awful too that I was trying to continue for the romance. But seeing how this story already wasted my time for 50 chapters, I’ll be seeing myself out. At least the art was pretty… 2/5
Life of a Magic Academy Mage
They should’ve titled this: Guide on not falling asleep while reading this because it is BO-RING. All offense. 1/5
