What happened to Aeroc is really painful to read. I understand that he has to pay for what happened to Klop's late husband but if you'll think of it he paid and experiences way too much than just death.
His life on the alley and even his life in Klop's mansion. Being (gang) raped multiple times , miscarriage & giving birth, and the constant beating.
So it really is understanble that on his 2nd & 3rd life he is suffering from PTSD. I was even reading the novel with a heavy heart and was not satisfied with the ending cuz of what Aeroc been through.
correct me if my memory is wrong if it was only 2nd chance or they had 3rd chance(regression) cuz I read the spanish version of the novel

They are regressing into two different universes, when the shitshow has not happened yet (Klopp haven't married Raphael) so you can say they go back in time but not their original universe. What happened in the original universe cannot be undone.
It's not a regression since the 2nd and 3rd times are second chances for each main lead both individually and respectfully. Not to mention that to Regress means to revert to a state before the improvement/development/upgrade. Both characters are simply Reliving. Or just call it a Redux (Redo)/Do Over. It's like Groundhog Day, but with two lovers Isekai'd to a reality where the other doesn't really exist, but their options to make things right, do.
