I really dislike parents guilt tripping their kids. Parents do not own their kids life, they can't dictate what's good or not for their kids. Their children should be free to make decisions once they've become adults. As parents, we can only give them support and advice. Make mistakes? Of course they will... But it's a parent's privilege to extend a hand and help. Not pull them down to become miserable... What a selfish and pridefully stubborn father. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Thank you so much for picking this up, Taiga! I missed the twins... looking forward in seeing
Daath and Juda as parents. Baron is such a mother hen!
And yes... Will wait patiently for the release of each update.

It would be so ironic if Chowon does fall for a beta. But the way he was raised had alot of influence on him. Getting into a loveless marriage just brought him down a notch. If he gets into a real relationship, I hope it teaches him what loving and living with the one you're in love with is all about.

If only more parents were like Yangyang and Li Huan's parents, many LGBTQ+ kids would suffer less.

... this has got to be one of the most adorable family outing I've ever seen from a manga!
I need more of this!

I recalled, in the novel... he's really bad at giving names. Hahaha!

This scene where Zishu is reading the book "100 Places You Must Go In Your Life"... reminds me that Zishu spoke often to Wenxu Jiang of wanting to go to those places. That was when Zishu wasn't sick yet. Wenxu never took him anywhere, but he had the gall to take his boy toys to Paris... and other places (passing mentioned in book) with the pretense of it being a "business trip".

In the extra chapters, Wenxu remembers after Zishu is no longer with him (and denies Zishu He's death). He goes to those places that he once promised he would take Zishu. He writes letters to Zishu, of his regrets... but what can regret do after everthing that had happened? Funny, too, that it was in the letter at the end that he confesses that he had been cruel. But it annoyed me when he says he won't ask for Zishu's forgiveness... probably because he felt he didn't deserve it. But, I wanted to say, Zishu deserves at least your apology. He wallows in his self inflicted "punishment", and says he'll wait for Zishu's return. Now it's his turn to feel the cold loneliness.

BTW - this scene in the book is right before Zishu accepts Ai, and initiates that one sweet moment. A sweet and short respite... Ai tries his best to be gentle (afraid he might hurt Zishu who is weak) and declares his love for Zishu. It's Zishu's birthday the next day.

Read the novel guys... with a box of tissues near by.

Hmmm... Looks interesting enough! But when they first met, if I remember right, Hyakkimaru wasn't able to speak yet. Hoping this gets translated until the last chapter! Looking forward to see what else is different. I like both version ( original, and now this).

This version is following the storyline of the original 50's manga. Not the 2019 anime.

As a mom... the greatest fear I have is not my kids being LGBT, but rather how people will treat them for being LGBT. I'll support them in whatever decision they make, as long as it doesn't endanger them - but decisions about who they are or who their partner is is up to them. I fear for their safety with so many hate crimes against the LGBT+ community. I fear that they won't be promoted or reap rewards, that they'll be bullied for simply being gay/lesbian. These are things I can't shield my kids from. I can only nurture them to get stronger, to be by their side during their pain, heartbreak and be glad in their happiness. I get where the mom is coming from, but she needs to prioritize her son over her own emotions and prejudice.

I am a mother as well and I share the same fear as you. I can only protect them so far and heck, there might be family members that I might have to protect them from. The world is changing but not fast enough.
