I mean, just like what Toudou san said before the only thing that prevent Saena from removing Kyoko from family registry was her pride in her job. The betrayal you feel from the one you trusted and loved was indeed greater than anything else.
Yes. I'm not diminishing the impact of rape and he may very well have raped her but for someone like her the greatest shame would be to feel that she didn't succeed at protecting the secrets of her job. It would also explain the unreasonable dislike she had for her own daughter beyond the possibility of rape. Saena is a woman working in a male dominated society that demands it's workers devote their lives tobwork first and everything else second. Japan has a very different work ethic than the rest of the world for even common office jobs so lawyers would no doubt be even more heavily worked than say the US. Having a child alone would impact her work much less the possibility of stolen information.
I completely agree with you! Also considering it seems more like she blames herself, and doesn't really hate kyoko just not good with emoitons. This would make more sense then rape

Well he may have seemed nice but one of the themes in this manga is not judging a book by its cover. Kyoko misjudged Sho and Ren but now she sees them both for who they really are. He could easily be a slimeball and really it would explain a lot.

Remember the scene when Saena stressed over some case and Kyoko tried to console her but Saena slap Kyoko hands away saying "don't touch it, you ruin everything you touch! just this case, I must win. I can't addord to fail again in this one". That's made me think Saena blame Kyoko for downfall in her career. Well, for someone who always ranked first, she is such perfectionis I should say, the bitterness of failure was unbearable I guess. Afterall she is the kind of woman who got mad at her daughter for getting 98 score instead of 100.

What the hell is with this rape thing?! from what i understand, saena and misonoi like each other. i think they slept together in the previous chapter and the reason she's tired is probably because she's already pregnant with kyoko without knowing. the last scene doesn't mean that she will be raped. he's might just carry her to a more comfortable place. I don't think this manga would go that way with her story. something traumatic could be a betrayal or his death (just guessing...we'll have to see if he's dead or not..lol , ).
I mean maybe? Rape is really an easy conclusion to jump to because the "falling asleep after eating etc" part is a common thing. And even if they do like each other, it's still rape if one party forces the other into sexual acts without their consent. We're not saying it is rape, we're saying that it could possibly be rape. Of course, the scenarios as you described could be possible too.
I agree falling asleep after eating while pregnant is normal but she fell asleep after he gave her something to drink and he was acting suspicious. She also has nothing to do with him and if he was dead I think she would have just flat out told Kyoko that. She said it would be something that would be hurtful to them both which implies either he abandoned her when he found out she was pregnant or he betrayed her in some other way. He may not have raped her which is why I mentioned he might have been trying to cozy up to her to steal secrets from her job. That would help him get in with another law firm if they used underhanded tactics and there was a vague reference that Kyoko got her brains from both her parents which means he may not have really failed the bar exam twice. He might have been lying to manipulate his way into her life. There is really no way to know at this point it's all speculation.
Well look at the way she drew him. The whole page was seriously creepy. Maybe it will all be a red herring and she is misleading people. but that ending scene was drawn in a very ominous way. It's easy to assume he is up to no good. perhaps not rape but that doesn't mean he can't hurt her in other ways. whatever the case I don't see them having a future.

I don't really understand why many people find the uke a little problematic. Sleeping around and casual sex isn't uncommon and it certainly isn't immoral to do while out of a relationship.
