idc about the age gap (we all knew coming into it people like it’s literally in the summary) but man this was crazy. pacing was wild. the main couple were just raw dogging in public with just no regard whatsoever. the side couple? idk what the FUCK was going on there - (spoilers!!!!!!) you’re telling me it was all an act? like his trauma regarding his dad and getting bullied?? how tf did he just kidnap chen xi?? this story makes me feel like i took twenty edibles

basicallyyyy seonwoo grew up as that one poor kid with no father, and was constantly harassed in school. He wore the same shirt multiple times when he was younger and when he denied it, the kid tried to cut the shirt up, leading seonwoo to push back. They got in trouble for fighting and the kid’s parents pull up, leading seonwoo to realize it doesn’t matter if you’re right it only matters if you have power (the kid’s parents were rich). Even though he was the victim, seonwoo ends up having to kneel down and apologize in front of the parents.
When he gets home, he overhears his mother calling him a monster on the phone, asking someone to take him away. Some time afterward, as he’s walking home, he sees a man with his mom. The man shoves him in the car, and Seonwoo realizes his mom basically sold him out. The man tells Seonwoo to live quietly and to never answer who his family/father is, before dropping him off at that big apartment (that he currently lives in) and handing him a credit card. Then, he leaves Seonwoo alone in there.
Seonwoo waits for a long, long time for someone else to show up, but no one does. It’s just him, alone in this empty apartment. He transfers schools, and at this new school, he develops his facade and a lot of people take interest in him, thinking that he’s rich (he used his dad’s card to buy a bunch of nicer clothes for himself) and handsome. Then, when some dude tells him he likes both Seonwoo and a girl, Seonwoo jumps on the opportunity and kisses him. He later also makes a move on the girl (I think? He drops something off in her locker I don’t remember) and the dude hits him. Throughout all this, Seonwoo is ecstatic because this time it’s him with the power and him who got hit, so he’s in the right.
However, when the teacher calls his mom, she immediately goes over and forces him to bow, like he did something wrong. Then comes the part where she’s like “live a quiet life… you and me… we aren’t…”
Thus seonwoo think he’s unlovable and that everyone who gets close to him just wants to take advantage of him. He lashes out at people who have everything he wants (people who love them) and that’s where he gets involved with Siyeon. Honestly, Seonwoo probably wasn’t going to fuck with Siyeon too bad but one day, when Siyeon broke his leg and told Seonwoo about it, Seonwoo goes to get something for him and starts walking to his house, where he sees Baekhyun piggybacking Siyeon and laughing together. He stares at them and basically thinks he’s been played (I think…) and that’s where that stories all starts
