I am I the only one who actually likes how Ribe is written?? The MC was being a total dick head to her and cannot wrap his head around the fact that people are taking the game so seriously bc people's lives are on the line even though its technically a game. I find the MC way more annoying than Ribe but people keep commenting how they dislike Ribe. Why??? Even if she is flawed, she is a complex character. And, she wasn't even rude to MC. MC was the one constantly picking fights with her. Even the shark guy points it out. I found it refreshing that the author allowed the side characters to be explored so deeply so it doesn't feel like the world revolves around mc like in other stories.

I wish the mc was a woman in his past life. There are barely any female mc in the fantasy genre let alone isekai genre that focus on fighting and action. And whenever there is a "strong female mc" in isekai, it turns out they were a man in their past life (ex. Saga of Tanya the Evil). The author usually acts like the reason the female mc is so capable and intelligent is bc of their past experience as a man. My problem is that they could still be a cool, cut-throat anti-hero or whatever with their past life knowledge being a woman. Do the authors think there are no female killers from our world? I wish these kind of stories had actual batshit crazy female mc, not just a guy reincarnated in the wrong gender. Its not like they even explore the fact that they were born a different gender in the plot or in character development. The story would be exactly they same if the mc was a women in the past life as well. It just makes me feel like they think no women could ever be as off the wall as a male mc or something.
