and though i don’t think labels are necessary for everything, i think it’s perfectly fine for people to see representation in fictional characters whether the author meant it or not. for me, i don’t think i’d go so far as to say minehito seems like a trans woman, but i can absolutely see him being non-binary or genderfluid.
