I think it's kinda sad. This story has a good background and up until now, the character motivation was fine with me. That her family is kinda stupid and they don't know their place is one thing, but why can't the villain have any other motivation than a petty sense of twisted love for the ML? Why is there no deeper motivation besides 'the female character must have manipulated my love and I'm the only one who truly loves him'. It's so shallow and barely leaves any room for actual character development. I still like the story, I just think that it's upsetting.
