I just read chap 4 and omg chae is so loved. I thought there was a secret behind why he wasn’t being told the true length of time, but it’s just that his parents want him to live happily and with stability. Uuuugh that’s so sweet, I love his parents so much
I absolutely love the fact that the mother isn’t perfect. I still can’t like the mother too much because of the things she’s done, but I’m happy to see her changing. But most of all, the change wasn’t immediate, she still makes mistakes, and she still looks to her past actions, to rectify her current. It feels more real, and it makes me tear up tbh
