Can anyone explain to me a dummified version of heartless? I just started and really don’t get it. Does the story talk about how it began and why the flashlights work
i guess you could think of them as semi smart zombies or smth, people just kinda turn batshit but instead of wanting to eat people's brains, they want to murder them
they keep some degree of cognition, some more than others, but they are just 'heartless' like evil and bad, and want to harm others basically, but in later chapters we see that some are really particular and lowkey smart af, like serial killer/organized crime/terrorism smart.
they have grades to classify their danger levels, and um i think that's basically it
