I'm not entirely clear on the situation either, but from I read, it looks like people are mad because whoever is uploading this, is stealing someone else's work. The original translator was threatening to stop uploading chapters if they were going to be keep being stolen and put on mangago. I don't think people are mad about it being stolen, but because they don't want it dropped. I could be wrong about this though.
Well, if it's stolen then that is a different ball game....though I love this manga it's still not okay to steal. I had to report someone on Webtoons because they were uploading a comic from Deviantart to it without the owner knowing. Haven't seen an update in a while but he also never gave proper credit.
