You're talking about excuses and I'm talking about why is she like that. Ilmi can't be another person in a family with beloved ideal older daughter and other daughter who is Ilmi. But Ilmi is struggling because what she learnt in her family doesn't work in everyday life, her vision somehow isn't right, she feels it. She met Cher, the person Ilmi can be in a different life, the person with close friend, boyfriend, talents and may be a shady family like hers.

I feel sympathy for every character in this story cause I know for sure that they can exist in reality, I can meet people like them. Actually I've already met worse. That's why you should read stories and think about "why" rather than "who".

How other people's date is not your business. Period. If they want to date multiple people and all party is okay with it. I see no wrong. You're concept of cheating DOESN'T even apply to this because the the other guys are all aware of the others and is still in the relantionship and in good terms with the protag meaning they have accepted she is dating other guys and is willing to wait for her to make her choice. Even the guy that doesn't like her dating other guys in the end stuck around.... Cheating is when you date another guy while being with another who doesn't know the other.
