I am sorry but i know i am not an author but … the idea is there, i kinda get it. But the execution tbh making so many headache.
So … basically the MC realized that ML already abnormal since he was a child. << This is when you need to bring the flashback author … how he know and still keep getting close to ML, this is the reason that he do not trust ML>> His feeling grow but at the same time since he knew that ML can not feel like he do, he decide to make a distance between them.
ML knows he himself abnormal yet at the same time he felt that only MC understand him and makes him feel can be himself without being seen weird. When the MC make a distance between them, ML was frustrated since the only bond he has was with the MC. He become more obsessed. He prepared everything waiting for MC ending the Military Service, he had prepared the apartment, already got permission from that scumbag Father. The MC was trapped in the middle since the only escape from his father is living with the ML. Then He had his escape with living in the dorm. ML let him be while planning for another push. But he become crazy as he seen the MC get close to other than him. Thats the breaking point. He manipulate the Father to force MC living either at the house or with ML.
