I really was hoping for some light on how both emperor and ml treated princesses etc, but this was really bad. First, not really convincing and cringey plot, the fl with no brain and this rushed ending. When it comes to the characters, I cannot even say Luana is better than emperor. She didn't give a sh about other people and thought the original plot was okay?? Like, okay, you were abandoned, but when she went to see Ingrid in dungeon with a smile on her face, I lost all hopes. Every single time she went to see Ingrid, she acted like a clown. If she knew the original plot, she probably knew how mentally ill the emperor is..? I really hate those stories, in which the fl loses her brain when she's in love. Also, did they just cut whole plot with white haired guy witch cursing the ml? XD I thought it's gonna be some curse, which would explain the behaviour of the ml after they came back and he wouldn't eat her food, but I guess I expect too much from this manhwa. Btw, don't get me started on the cheese jerky, that was such a weird idea. Like, imagine, you just conquered the whole empire, you know you cannot eat food without it tasting bad, yet you eat random stick from a dirty, abandoned princess? It wasn't even a whole day and the dude got obsessive to the point he didn't wanted her to be cooking for other people and the be his property (what is whole another case btw). Normally, the ml who has questionable past (such as being the mass killer, as the knight said) gets his redemption arc. Normally he finds out his actions were wrong and changes because if the fl or his dramatic past is being shown and it becomes clear he was threatened into following the orders. At the beginning, I really thought the emperor could be somehow connected to the curse and control the ml, but ofc nope. So ml just happily follows his orders without even thinking by himself. He destroys whole empire,so his master gets a girl who doesn't love him, even when the emperor said he will kill everyone except Ingrid, he just follows him? I really hoped he will assassinate the emperor and get his redemption by joining the rebellion. Also, the food choices made by fl were very questionable. We didn't get much what was her life before reincarnation, but since she did cook some international recipes,we can guess she was very good at it. And yet, the amount of mediocre recipes was astonishing. Random soups, fried chicken obsession. One second she says that he looks bad and probably was starving a lot and then the other second she prepares him dishes with not-many nutrients and very big amounts as well. I'm sorry, but this plot has so many holes and I'm so confused, that I have no idea what I've just read. Was those 50+ chapters worth it? Absolutely not XD
