I'm enjoying the story and I want the ML to be happy. But at the same time, I'm also seeing the classic signs of a toxic boyfriend. Guilt-tripping and ostracizing the FL from her close relationships. Not a good sign. But again, it's a comic and the ML has a very tragic backstory, so I'm not gonna go further than pointing it out.
Came here for smut but got hit with a cheating story instead. Honestly, I've been reading yaoi and BL for years, but haven't felt his specific feeling of "yuck" in a while. Might try another chapter or two, but don't like the MC. He's doing everything wrong. And no, he's not "the victim."
I honestly find stories where things don’t go picture perfect and the characters are unlikable refreshingly realistic. I really enjoy watching a ‘bad’ character face consequences and grow into a better person. I also love me a good free fall into oblivion. I really thought it was interesting to see him call himself the victim. He has some real congestive dissonance going on in him at all times. Telling himself the easiest things to hear. Like convincing himself he is happy with his partner because he is attractive and easy to get along with. Convincing himself that he didn’t make that opening on purpose. I’m interested to see when he will stop lying to himself.
"Complying with a request?" So they were threatened with a cease and desist? That sucks. This was a very good story and one that isn't licensed for English yet (to my knowledge).

Relax. You're on this site too. We both benefit from reading yaoi on here. And frankly, I would have never known this story existed if it hadn't been translated by this group.

You know, the sad ironic thing about all these isekai and reincarnation stories is the very point of them. People who spent their first lives reading stories and playing games die and move on to a better life. But the reason their second lives are better is because they're out living it in active and progressive ways. The more this genre swells, the more I feel bad for all of us reading it lol.
Lol, but i never regretted my choice :P Although if i would reincarnate i probably would live a different life, not because i regret my choice inn thi life, but because i already gone through this life once, and i would like to experience something different in the next one.
With that said though, i don't really believe in anything happening after we die.

Haikibutsushorijou & Haiki are guys, right? Just cause with an enema and hairy legs/asses, this felt like a gay man's comic. More realistic about gay sex than we're all used to.

I'm in the minority here, but feel compelled to share my piece. (Not a hate post though).
When I read the first chapter months ago, I immediately felt off when seeing the two younger boys kissing. Just felt weird to view that under the context of a yaoi manga that we know will turn sexual at some point. Made me question whether I'm getting too old to read some HS yaoi (I'm 24). But having loved this mangaka's other story, I at least skimmed the chapter.
Then in reading the rest of the story, I felt weirded out by the whole mother situation. Tamaki'a past trauma of his mother's toxic relationships was pointed out but never addressed. Just pushed to the side for Shii's feelings. And having to watch it was offputting to me as a reader. Especially when that first boyfriend started touching Tamaki and the mother said nothing about it.
Then lastly, Shii's obsession with Tamaki was sweet but also offputting when it got perverted. This one I'm trying not to be too judgemental over. He's a horny teen and this is yaoi, after all. It's the status quo. But that final extra of jacking off to pictures and poses... I couldn't shake off the "this is creepy" feeling.
Again, not trying to be a hater but this how I actually felt throughout the story and needed to share it (for whatever reason). Despite that, I hope the mangaka does another volume, cause this story felt incomplete. And I feel like she intends to. If so, hopefully volume 2 addresses Tamaki's trauma with his mother & relationships.
Felt the same way about the extra. It was just too much. If someone would do that to a picture of me I’d feel uncomfortable.
the first boyfriend touching tamaki's little thing isnt really something sexual. he was obviously straight and was just playing around. we just gave it double meaning since this is yaoi lol.
and to a girls point of view having a guy masturbate to a picture seems creepy but thats how it normally works for guys in reality though literally cumming to the picture is a bit....
Because thats what makes the story diff to others. Ive been reading some manga in here but this story is kinda new to me. So the traumatizing part is part of the plot but yeah no doubt his mother is really fcked up though
It’s just your lack of life experience. Once you’ve lived more and see different situations and lifestyles you shouldn’t have such a narrow view. You’re still super young, read again in 5 then 10 years. You’ll be surprised
