I had in my kitchen gas leaking for an hour and nothing happened. Although there was a burning burner next to it.
It's not their main purpose but still they circulate air in room with fresh air. In my country they lead outside. Also as I said the room wasnt even closed. There was no doors.

yeah i actually compared them to the official korean + english chapters, and the unofficial chapters do take liberties that didnt appear in the original korean at all, like when dg asks jiwon if he has any appointments/things to do today and jiwon responds that today he's resting, the unofficial translator changed it to dg asking if jiwon has a broadcast today and jiwon responding that's he on break (in other words, hiatus), which was nowhere in the original korean or in the english official chapter. its creating content that didnt appear in the actual story at all, which is why unofficial translations are so discouraged when an official one exists.
