Ch 26 Those bars were so big you didn't even need a door, which wasn't even locked, and the room looked better than most 5 star hotel rooms. How is this a prison???

Ch 79 and 80 are the same, and ch81 feels like a lot of story was skipped, more than would fit into one chapter. I'm already skimming so it's not that big a deal, but the jump us too sudden. From them going to visit some noble house where FL can save some soon-to-be struggling opera singer, then they're going undercover for some reason...

Got to ch26 and just had to stop. It is so slow, and all the political machinations bore me.

I was reading this with another manhwa and a third that I want to start (while paused in the middle of another one) so I think I'll come back to this later.

Even if it doesn't get better, I hope there's at least a point to it.

This honestly feels like a first project for the author/artist, or both author and artist if they're different people. The art seems to change in between panels (the ML alone has like 3-4 different styles within the same chapter every time and I'm only on chapter 3) and honestly reminds me of chinese manhuas (some awkward body proportions and chibi styles.)The story is repetitive with dragged out dialogue, too, so it's really tiring to read even though I haven't gotten far yet.

The premise is interesting but the execution is so bad it looks more like a parody than an actual story.

Ok, so I'm only on ch61 and the story is great but I paused reading to say one thing. There's a trend in these stories when the MC is rebirthed into their childhood years, and they antagonize characters who are going to be villains in the future.

Like, I know their future actions deserve it, and sometimes like the 1st prince here they're terrible people even presently, but they're still children. The MC, as an adult (though in a child body), could always decide to not antagonize a child that could become a powerful enemy, but I've never seen this done. Why can't a character ever play it smart, treat the villain kids like the brats they are, and just diffuse the situation without creating enmity? I feel like it would be smarter to act unassuming until you're powerful enough to take them on if there's a need.

And of course, this only happens when the villain in question is not the male lead.

To be fair though, these manhwas take so long to complete, this might have seemed unique around the time it came out but though it's still a good story years later, there's dozens of other k-manhwas and novels with a similar plot.

I'd never start anything that came out recently knowing they're years away from getting completed, but I do hope the artists and writers have become more creative.

Reread for like the 6th? Time. One of my all time comfort reads, these two are so cute!!! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

So I'm assuming the second couple (the chibi 20 years old and the tall teenager) find some closure in volume 3? Hopefully it gets translated.

I'm not to the latest chapter yet (122 after taking a break on this for 3-4 years) but I hate it when authors tell us a character is smart and has them doing non-smart things most of the time. Or, when they over explain things to prove their smartness.

In the beginning it feels like a slog, because there's more slice of life moments and less plot, then at the end of ch85, we finally get hit with the plot of the manhwa. It was so unexpected it took me by surprise.

Like, there's not much warning of this around the beginning, only in the second half or final third do you learn there are apparently demons in this world that the lead characters will have to face.

The only saving grace is all the family time and how the MC's twin is always there for her. Because she's an average child, especially when compared to the MC, and she doesn't get a lot of the undercurrents of what's going on most of the time (tension between their parents, etc), she's clever in her own way and seems to read the MC very well. Even though her sister is strange to everyone else, Eciel loves Claire unconditionally, which is nice to see.

Yeah, the timing is kind of weird, I'd rather they showed a bit more of the MC as a grown up and of Artaire before this happened ┗( T﹏T )┛

i thought it's supposed to be slow story? i already used to the pace and now it suddenly changed so I dont like it. it's different if they have promised since the start that it's going to be action drama love hate relationship but they didn't right.

also the title lmao. if they will make the father to be background character later they shouldn't make specific title like this

if suddenly i became princess webtoon changed its title into daddy princess it'll be okay bc the important plot always has been about the father.

max2payne0 January 16, 2025 4:46 am

Love how they even brought back the guy who saved them that one time, but our final shot if Mil is him still pining for Elise ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ #-.-)

Also, we never see the emperor (previous) again after his surgery.
