I very much understand why Anita the witch did what she did. Like yeah is she involving innocent people into this? Yes, but the other mages/witches were also likely innocent and were slaughtered because of one selfish man. She got betrayed in the worst way and her anger is justified. I can't imagine helping the person you love and never getting credit for it and even ending up imprisoned.

Is she taking it out on the right people? That's debatable. I still want our MC to come out on top but for once I do feel sympathy for the "villain".

This story is not good for my blood pressure. Just seeing Romeo makes my blood boil!
