He's looking to solve the problem through immediate action which is commendable ...under certain situations. But in that case looking from within could be a great way to see his character developed. But yeah, he has to do alcohol and hoes instead, aight.

For once instead of portraying women's illnesses as a 'trait' that renders them 'delicate', the story actually made the wise decision of depicting the harsh yet irreducible reality they constantly have to face and be reminded of :/.
I think it's refreshing somehow as it adds a deeper dimension to both the story and the character but I'm not sure if this will have a really good ending T-T.
Maybe she'll learn to embrace it but I don't think her growing feelings for Shinpei would make it easier for her to do so...
