I totally get you'd feel disgusted by it because what Okaya did to Nagare is truly unreedemable, and making it romantic downplays the abuse and torment he did to Nagare. What makes it so fascinating is how Okaya does not even realize it himself after doing so much, unlike the MC from Brutal. I highly recommend Brutal if you love Maria no Danzai
