Ok I felt bad for the mc...his laptop was destroyed by the baby, he’s allowed to get angry at the moment but the other dude was not understanding at all. He’s making him take care of his nephew but he acts like he’s obligated to?

Mhm. I'm not surprised some kind of trauma was drudged up. The MC is the type to still care about the baby's health, but he's also particularly prejudiced against babies in that the negatives of the situation stress him more. It makes sense that he still has that unresolved trauma, which fits in with the type of traumas people can have. He also felt guilty bc his motive to help raise the baby was a selfish motive, which is a step in the right direction bc he recognizes that he at least needs to overcome his trauma/prejudice anyway to make things work. Even if he didn't have the appropriate motives at first, what's done is done and he might as well make the best of it. This experience will pull him out of his trauma eventually I guess. Regarding the uncle, yes he could have been a little more understanding bc he was also the one that asked him to get involved in the first place, but I just see it like that protective mama-bear/papa-bear instinct some creatures get after something negative has already happened to their families and the babies come above every other thing in existence. (Like "you're either with us or against us" type of mentality to protect the child)

Have you ever cared for a baby? A neohew, a niece? You can be pissed. You can be frustrated. But to be actually be mean to a baby?! I'm glad he was scolded and got called out. He was there for the wrong reasons. He was using the baby to be closer to his crush. He should have known what that entails. It wasn't forced labor.

I understand what your saying, but it goes both ways. He is not making him take care of the child that was the agreement. Laptops are expensive and lost data is a pain, but the cost and consequence of that child getting hit with the laptop would have been much worse. The seme had the right to be overprotective and upset espically if the uke went for the laptop first.
