I'm currently reading this on paper back, i'm on volume three but I'm kinda confused about the jump from one set of characters to another. Are they related in some way? I'm not sure if I missed it or not but I'm kinda confused. Can someone please explain maybe about these different characters connections or any background info on these characters?

Yes, four years. Doukmei is still a mob underling working for some-one else. He always knew that Yashiro lied about not remembering him. That's why he willingly left, because he knew he/his love was a source of anxiety for Yashiro and he didn't want that for him.

I really hate the queen. At first I liked her, but then she became the usual generic irritating main girl character. No offense to people who like her.
Personally I'd prefer Toono and Krishima get together but I wouldn't mind Toono being with Yachan either.
