I kinda wish the twins had a close relationship like i wish aisha worked as the brain and aida worked as the body and they survive and get revenge like that, sounds pretty cliché i know but i haven't read much of a girl bestie trope with revenge it would've been nice
I absolutely agree with you. I came back for updates but went for a reread. To me one of the biggest flaw of the story is how the author treats Aida. Aisha and Aida is twin but it's clear author has a favorite, making Aida purely Aisha's opposite, but gave Aida no strength of her own. Twins should be close and irreplaceable. Twins don't like being separated from one another and usually has more similarities in trait than just physical appearance. Instead of Aisha's closest person being Sean, it should've been her sister Aida.
i agree, but in reality, they just kind of represent Freud’s psychoanalytic theory, where Aida is the “Id” representing pleasure and fun, and Aisha is the “superego”, morality and strictness
in ayeshah's secret, aida did work as the BODY. while she was naive at many points, her initial story was supposed to be her attracting men, mostly her brothers so that their stepmother won't do anything against them, as her sons favor aida.
