My prediction that her fear was less her being actually afraid and more "oh shxt my pure Sori caught me with someone else, what do I do?" was spot on.

That "ML is actually a girl" subplot is soooo unneeded imo, why couldn't she just be a guy? I can take hetero couplings in yuri/yaoi, it's better than making every single character gay. I understand that the characters' behaviors are quite annoying, but I still like it, it's very humanizing. I prefer this over cookie cutter portrayals of relationships that seem like they've been shat out from Disney's wholesome butthole. People are all selfish to varying degrees, people are all stupid to varying degrees. It's those shades of grey that make reading manga more interesting. Eri is a bxtch that wants her childhood friend and her "normal" (hetero) life too, but she still makes for an interesting character.

This author bruh, I checked out everything they made that's on this site and wow, everything was beautiful. Not only that, it was angsty too. Love this sorta writing over fluff pieces. I love angsty, and/or toxic yuri. The stuff that makes me think about my gay life. Idk, I guess I like stressing myself out? (￣∇￣")
